Tel Aviv Open Mic / Jam

Every musical city has an engine room — and in Tel Aviv it's in Florentin. The Tel Aviv Open Mic / Jam community holds weekly open-stage and jam meetups where the line between audience and performers is deliberately blurred: anyone who comes can also get up and play.

The meetups are open to musicians, singers and performers of every style — some arrive with a trembling first original song, some jump into a spontaneous jam, and some come only to listen and get pulled in. The atmosphere is exceptionally supportive: this crowd knows exactly how much courage an open mic takes.
