Nice to meet you, I'm Itay
This isn't just another website. It's a promise I made to the kid I used to be.
When I was a kid, recess was the hardest part of the day.
Everyone knew exactly where to go and who to sit with. Me? I walked around the yard with a ball in my hand, waiting for someone to say, "Come, join us." Most days, nobody did.
I wasn't particularly shy, and I wasn't a sad kid. I just didn't have a door. I didn't know where to find the kids who loved the things I loved, and no one could tell me.

Years passed. One day, already an adult, a friend basically dragged me to a board-games night with people I didn't know. I sat there, and at hour ten I caught myself laughing out loud with seven complete strangers.
That night I understood something that has never left me: my people had been there the whole time. Nobody had just pointed at them for me.
So I started mapping. One community, then ten, then seventy. Board games, singing, hiking, language exchange — every community I found went on the list. Because if that kid in the yard had had a list like this, everything would have looked different.

I founded Hamburgigi — a serious burger-review blog that became a household name in Israel and still helps thousands of people decide where to eat before they pick a burger joint.
