Every Israeli surfer knows the dilemma: this sea doesn't hand out waves generously, and when a swell hits — you need to know now. Just Surf, the surf community running since 2012, was built around exactly that moment: some 3,500 surfers keeping each other updated in real time.

The community's heart is its regional WhatsApp groups: each stretch of coast has its own, with live wave reports from whoever is in the water or on the sand right now. Instead of guessing from a forecast, you get the real picture — and sometimes a 6am surf partner too.

Joining is simple: open the community site, pick your region's group, and hop in. Once you're inside, no swell will ever slip past you quietly again.
