A community of Russian-speaking Israeli volunteers who accompany new olim — with employment, language and community integration.
Anyone who made aliyah as a child knows exactly how hard the beginning is — and that's precisely where Generation 1.5 was born: a community of Russian-speaking Israeli volunteers who accompany new olim.
The volunteers help with employment, language and community integration — ongoing, personal support from people who know the road from both sides.
Looking for support, or want to volunteer? Follow the community's Facebook page and get in touch. Sometimes all a new oleh needs is someone who has already been through it.
Been there? Rate it and tell others how it was — what you loved, and what's worth knowing before you go.
