Community Gardens Israel

Israel's national community-gardens network: connecting garden leaders and volunteers, supporting new initiatives, with annual gatherings.

A community garden is much more than vegetable beds — it's a great excuse to meet the neighbors, a place where kids learn where tomatoes come from, and a patch of green that residents grow with their own hands. Community Gardens Israel is the national network connecting all of these gardens into one movement.

The network links garden leaders and volunteers across the country: knowledge-sharing between gardens, guidance for brand-new initiatives, and annual gatherings where the whole gardening community meets face to face. If you lead a garden, you have someone to call; if you're only dreaming of one, you have someone to learn from.

How to join? Follow the network's Facebook or Instagram page, and from there find an active garden in your area or get help starting a new one. No green thumb required — just a willingness to get your hands a little dirty.
