In the villages of Hof HaCarmel — between the sea, the Carmel and the moshavim — young adults can feel a bit scattered: each in their own community, with no shared town square. Carmelos, the regional council's young-adults center, built that square on WhatsApp.

The center runs WhatsApp communities across several channels: groups for the council's young adults, the 'Carmeluli' group for young parents — a space for questions, coordination and connections between new families — and channels for local initiatives.
